Hello! We are Jane and Brian, an Irish couple living in Spain and dedicated to learning Spanish. We created Ella Verbs with the goal of enhancing our knowledge of Spanish verbs and advancing from intermediate to advanced speakers. Throughout our language journey, we experimented with various methods to improve our Spanish grammar – books, apps, tutors – you name it, we tried it! However, we never found the one solution that truly resonated with us. So, we decided to build it ourselves.

Unlike your typical Spanish flashcards or verb trainer app, Ella Verbs follows a unique philosophy: "learn, quiz, repeat." We provide comprehensive teaching materials, followed by interactive quizzes. We ensure that relevant content resurfaces when you need it most. Incorporating proven research on learning and retention (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006), our personalized Smart Quizzes ensure a faster improvement in Spanish conjugation.

As a small team of two, we personally review and respond to every feedback email and review we receive.
